If you could choose 2 streaming services which would you pick?

Currently doing bundle of Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ along with Fubo at 65 a month

Loves being able to watch games live with Fubo and the TV shows with Hulu

I have All of the above except Fubo. If I could only choose two it would be ESPN+ and HBO max.

I Have the Disney bundle just because chicks sometimes want to watch something on Disney. I only use espn really. Don’t even have a Hulu account.

I'm still waiting on a streaming service that is geared towards fans of classic movies and tv shows.

I usually rotate streaming services every month or so.

There is a lot of classic stuff on HBO Max. Turner classic, all the old cartoons, all adult swim shows, old DC cartoons, anime, etc….

I canceled Direct TV years ago because it was costing 100+ and switched to Netflix plus Amazon. Currently with Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for 15 a month and Fubo for 65 a month

Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu
-I get this bundle for free because I am a Verizon customer. I havent been on Disney since the last episode of Loki. When Disney first came out, I watched a lot of different things, but now, other than the new Marvel/Star Wars show, the app has nothing for me. ESPN+ I use for college baseball, but I dont watch soccer or MMA, so its not a app I use often. I use Hulu the most out of the three for watching old sitcoms and Its Always Sunny. Great old tv content.

HBOMax
-With HBO putting their new movie releases on the app, this is easily the best app available. Ive watched every movie released except for Space Jam and that weird Hugh Jackman movie that bombed. The original content is lacking if you dont like DC, but they have the best movie database and having TCM is a huge plus.

Amazon
-I use a fire stick so Amazon is what I know. Might have the best original content(Mrs Maisel/The Boys/Bosch/etc) but they also put out a ton of crap that I have no interest in watching. Movie library is ok.

Netflix
-Ive had Netflix for close to 15 years and in 2021, I actually thought about discontinuing it because their original stuff has been crap this year. Its getting better the past couple of months with the content but their movies hardly ever interest me. Its basically crap until the next season of The Witcher/Stranger Things/Mike Flannigan Horror/Ozark comes along or there is a doc series that interests me.

Peacock
-Had it for a month during the summer and I just came back for Halloween Kills. Not a fan. It seems like all their movies were previously on HBO/Amazon/Netflix and there really isnt much else for me. Ill be around for Psych 3 but thats it. Not a keeper.

Starz
-Just had it for the past few months for the show Heels. Great freakin show. I love their movie collection. Good horror. Good comedy. Ive watched the app a lot more than I thought I would, but there isnt much for me in the original content.

Paramount+
-Had it for a couple of months to catch up on Yellowstone. Love the old Comedy Central content. Watching Drawn Together and Ugly Americans. I think the show Evil is exclusive to them now, and I really enjoyed the first half of season 2. Their movies are pretty bad much like Peacock. Will pick it back up next month for the new season of Yellowstone and the other new companion series.

I’d probably drop Netflix if it weren’t for the kids catalog (I have 3). Their original content is mostly shite with a few outliers and even some of the decent shows I’ve watched, started getting very political and/or pushy with certain views in the last year or so.

Really surprised Netflix took the stance they did with Chapelle’s standup. Everything else is coming from Leftfield

If I am picking 2, then, I have to go with Hulu + Live (HBO & Showtime bundled in this package) and Netflix. There are a lot of other streaming services I have as well, but, these are the 2 I find myself using the most. Least favorite thing with Hulu Live is they don't have Paramount, so, I have to find other ways to catch up on Yellowstone. Lately I have just been using YouTube app on TV to watch MrBallen stories.

Prime and HBO Max

The amount of shite on Prime is staggering.

I recently dropped Prime and picked up HBOMax and I have to say, the quality and depth of HBO's catalog seems superior, especially from the quality standpoint. Prime wasn't bad by any means but I do like HBO better

Prime's biggest problem is their interface, imo. They do the same thing that Netflix does...throw titles into as many categories as possible to make their library look larger than it actually is.

It makes trying to find something to watch a pretty annoying experience. I like the sites like HBO and Discovery+ that let you search their library and categories from A to Z.
