Unrelated to OP but related to your post. I just found out the lawyer from Erin Brokovich's (irl) story - his wife is on one of those shows. Apparently that dude turned out to be a real POS. I hadn't heard anything about that.

Social workers? Actually might be a great show. Filming people who dialed 911 for the cops... then filming their reactions and the ensuing antics when only social workers show up. I bet that would make for some good TV.
