The show was too much evidence that cops arent out there murdering people in the streets and they actually let way more shite slide than people ever thought.
It also showed the complete trash they deal with everyday.
Cops were painted in a good light and we cant have that. The host is also super lib and probably hated not having the cops out there beating people to justify his beliefs

Live PD was a real hoot and a staple in my home most Saturday nights. My kid would watch and aspire to work in law enforcement when she grows-up.
I always wanted to see some fool try to step to the jacked-up cop they'd call "Officer Legs," but sadly, no one was that stupid.

I would imagine he liked that fat paycheck for a super easy and popular hosting gig a lot more than he was bothered about Live PD not conforming to his personal beliefs

I never liked those shows much but for a while that was about the only show my best friend watched... And he is a pastor. I reckon maybe he was praying for them trying to save their lost souls. I dunno. I can definitely see how they suck you in and you watch them for a while. Good for Cops though.
