Like his offense, history of being an OL coach and player, some tutelage under Saban and played at Miami and coached at FIU so he has some Florida connections for recruiting...not to mention a very good track record of recruiting classes.

coaching change board?

He's been a top 3 candidate in my book for awhile.

Bags of money

Compete the in SEC

I see all kinds of arguments that he'll run the PAC12, but if he wants to prove his meddle among the best in the business, that's in the SEC.

He’s a qualified Orgeron. CEO style of coach that recruits at an elite level. I also like his hire of Joe moorehead .

He is the big name type that could be available, which fits Woodward’s previous MO. I wouldn’t hate it, especially if Moorhead comes along.

Probably won’t get Cristobal. But he will certainly listen to the LSU offer as he uses it as leverage to raise his salary at Oregon.

He has a unique recruiting advantage at Oregon with Nike money being free flowing there.

Yeah, that’s entirely possible. I could see him feeling like he’s set for the next decade there.
