I could see it if BI gets hurt, but the team would be bad.

Hayes continues his ascendancy, he could very likely be the third best player on the team as soon as next year. He's that talented.

I think he's going to make Val expendable at the end of the year.

valunciunas is a free agent after coming season.

if hes healthy hes going to get lonzo money at least.

I mean Lonzo pretty much averaged 15/6/5 and he can't make a layup. NAW is taking his minutes and can make a layup so idk why 18/5/5 is unrealistic.

Because if you're comparing NAW to Zo, then that means we've gone from Bled+Adams to Graham+JV.

Would be great fi NAW averages 18ppg,just not sure there's enough to go around for that.

Zion+BI is 50
NAW 18
Graham 14 ish
JV 14 ish

That's 96 points with just 5 guys. Once you round out the rest of the rotation of st least 4 dudes, that would put us around 130ppg probably.

I get where you are coming from. We saw NAW have several 30pt+ games last year. Lonzo has a career high of 33 and we watched NAW dismantle the Clippers last year and drop 37. Obviously he will have bad games so will Zion, BI, Graham, etccc. At the end of the day a 12pt game and a 24pt game is still an 18pt average. Not that unrealistic if he is going to be our starting SG.

Well, we do know that NAW has gotten in a lot of work this offseason. Team Canada didn't make it to the Olympics, but the practice and qualifying games were a good experience. And we've seen a lot of video of him working out with Olin Simplis "@theguardwhisperer".

If NAW went on a vacation, it was a short one. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of all that work.

Prepare yourself for us to score a lot of points this season. I think NAW will have a solid season and average around 15ppg. Graham can average 22 ppg easily. Valanciunas will still be a force at the rim, his 3PA may go up but the strength of his game is at the rim. He’ll average 17 ppg.

Zion+BI is 60
Graham 22
JV 17
NAW 15

Think BUCKETS
(First to 116 wins)

NAW would have to be viewed as our bonafide third bucket at around 24 ish ppg to win the MIP award

You thinking we’ll average less than 110ppg is just as laughable. If you think we’re going to win games by holding teams under 100 points I could understand your dismay on the season.

I clearly stated first to 116 wins (now we’re driving fast)

In all seriousness I’ll be shocked if Graham doesn’t average 20 ish.

Val points may dip due to usage rate. Look for him to initiate offense from top the key (deadly from 3 there)

Brandon needs to produce more complete games than good halfs, all eyes are on him. I think he’ll look to average around 25-27 ppg and establish his presence.

Zion giving you 25 before breaking a sweat.

So maybe the discrepancy is how much the Zion/BI combo will produce on a nightly basis.

Book me at 117 ppg ????

You think our starters are going to average over 100 ppg combined? You do realize they aren't playing 48mpg and the bench is going to play, right?

What I think:

Zion 28
BI 24
JV 15
NAW 13
Graham 12

That's 92 points from the starters, which is still great. Graham isn't going to play enough minutes to average 20. With Sato, Temple, Hart, Naji, and Kira all seeing time, I see Graham just getting 20-25 minutes per game. Naji and Hart will also back up BI, but we have too many guards who are going to play.

NAW is more suited to wim sixth man of the year award. NAW needs the ball in his hands to score which doesn't work with Zion, BI and Devin G.
NAW needs to be more like TM3 that is: play your role, know your limitations and be effective and efficient without being ball dominant. You have to sacrifice shot attempts and isolations to play with Zion. Not sure NAW can!

Where the hell are y'all coming from with these takes. Yes any player does need the ball in his hands to score.... Why is everyone acting like Zion and BI didn't have 20-30pt games with Lonzo and Bledsoe taking 10 shots each. So our guard rotations are going to go from taking 30 ish shots a game to maybe 20? Just because Zion and BI will do the same thing last year but hopefully more efficiently? Doesn't make sense.

BI and Zion averaged 35 shots a game last year. Bledsoe and Lonzo averaged a combined 23 shots a game. That's not including NAW, Hart, etcc. For anyone to say there isn't enough shots to go around doesn't watch our team.

That's possible, but there is no reason why we didn't give up all those bs 2nd round picks to get cam Thomas he's the killer we need, Mark my words he will out value all this years rookies picked before him. Exept maybe the top 5.
