Los Angeles became the first major school district in the United States to require COVID-19 vaccinations for all students ages 12 and up.
The Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation’s second-largest system, approved the mandate in a unanimous vote during a special Thursday Board of Education meeting.
“It’s about the collective good,” board President Kelly Gonez said prior to the vote. “It’s about what’s best for the community as a whole and sometimes that necessitates challenging decisions.”
Students who take part in extracurricular activities like sports are prioritized under the proposal — with those 12 and older required to have their first jab by Oct. 3, followed by a second shot by Halloween, according to a resolution on the requirement.

This is probably even more insane than Biden's mandate. I'm not sure how nuts it'll get in LA, but it'll be a shitshow if/when they start coming for kids.

I don’t see how anyone lives in Los Angeles voluntarily. I’ve been there often and it’s so nasty.

Why don’t teachers mandate students pass grade-appropriate exams to progress to the next grade?

All bullshite. It's about what's good for their progressive agenda.
