Columnist Will Sutton of NOLA.com apologizes for not following the science until now and decides that it’s time for vaccinated folks, like himself, to stop wearing masks. See, now that the economy has been destroyed, supply chains disrupted, and the Bad Orange Man removed from power, he can see that he may have overreacted. He’s seen the light, and it’s not wearing a mask .

Good for Jarvis 2.0

Maybe he'll even have a burger and a beer this July 4th as long as Grandpa Joe gives him the go ahead

Some cliffs:
quote:

Will Sutton: I confess. I was wrong. I need to follow the science, drop the mask. It's time.

quote:

Stay alive long enough and things change. Stay open-minded, let people smarter than me share data and information and things change.

quote:

As I’ve followed the science and the guidance of Louisiana Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, I’ve done so with great caution and concern. I’ve opted to err on the side of living without the infectious virus and protecting myself, my family and friends and others by staying behind the guidance of the day. That means when they said the best advice is to wear a mask indoors and outdoors while shopping, picking up take out or getting some gas, I did that — and more. That means when we were required to stay socially distanced with at least six feet between us, I played it safe and stayed at least eight to ten feet away — if I got close enough to see other people.

quote:

In recent weeks, President Joe Biden, Edwards, Cantrell and other elected leaders have said they have reviewed the data, listened to health professionals who research and study the virus for a living and concluded that those of us who are vaccinated don’t need masks except in certain circumstances. I heard them. I listened. But I couldn’t bring myself to shed my acquired facial coverings. But as I’ve ventured out for a few minutes at a time then a few hours at a time and then for much of the day sometimes, I’ve seen more people with smiles on their faces. I don’t know most of these people, and I realized I was missing out on so much that’s good about life.

quote:

Vaccines are our best way out of this pandemic, the best path to the personal freedoms all of us have been longing to see return.

quote:

I was wrong. I said follow the science, and I didn’t. It’s time to fess up about my mess up and do the right thing. I’m trusting the science — and smiling.

Yet the article has a picture of him standing shoulder to shoulder with people at a party in December.

Imagine taking advice from Biden and Cantrell.

I mean Edwards is a goon, but he's not a total idiot.
But Biden and Cantrell!

Haha

His major problem was that science purposefully ignored the data. A made up 'the science' as a political tool. The original science said no masks. And now its no masks ONLY of you take a vaccine (before its been authorized). Which itself is not science (or ethical).

The Nuremberg protocols say a person has the right to decline medical experimentation. Until vaccines are authorized, its still just an experiment. And 375,000 reports of complications aint no small thing

Jarvis was at least doing this crap before it became super advantageous to one's media career. Will is just riding coattails.

Will Sutton, expert on infectious diseases, strikes again.

Highlights:
quote:

Yes, it’s time for vaccine mandates.

You can call it segregation. You can call it interference. You can call it a disregard for liberty and personal freedom.

I call it survival.

quote:

Do we really want to see more sickness, pain and death?

And The Advocate's editorial board is piling on as well LINK. The comments on this article are fascinating.

There’s no shortage of idiots in NOLA. It’s no wonder the city continues its race to the bottom. Their compliance and support of their dem masters, is truly astounding.

You are right. They will vote for anyone with a (D) after their name and then wonder why things don't improve.

It's a mystery I tell ya.

Go to Walmart. Some wear masks, some don't. Guess who does?
