I honestly thought there would be zero people thinking this. Interesting.

Not even close to as good a movie as Shawshank Redemption.

Do people think that? I thought The Green Mile was pretty good, but not in the same discussion as Shawshank

The Green Mile is pretty great movie IMO. However, it is WAY too long. It seems like they could have cut an hour or more out of the movie and not missed a beat.

Such a terrible take.

Sorry you can't appreciate movies that don't have loud splosions and shitty CGI.

I weep for this generation.

Yep, my first thought. People like the fake stuff anymore.

It was an above average movie for sure.

Percy was a great villain.

I miss Michael Clarke Duncan. He could be making tons of money doing some super hero character over, and over.

David Morse is good in it.

He should get more larger roles. I love him in what might be his largest role, with Viggo Mortensen, and Patricia Arquette and Valeria Golino, in The Indian Runner (1991). He was in some good movies. 12 Monkeys, The Rock, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Contact, The Negotiator, 16 Blocks, Disturbia, & more. He even played George Washington in the John Adams series on HBO.
