Not sure about flight availability out of BR or your interests, but Asheville, NC might be a good option. Monterey/Carmel, CA or Chicago for a city trip…..

Correct! And it's one of those things that nobody can hurry up at all. Only go through .gov sites or the post office or passport office for them. Nobody besides a Congressman (and not even them now!) can hurry them up.

Culebra, Puerto Rico. Look it up. You’ll need another flight from San Juan to reach it. Don’t recommend you take the ferry.

You applied on 6/28 for a 7/22 flight to Mexico?
I applied on 5/24 for my son for a flight to Puerto Vallarta on 7-24 (this Saturday). Paid for expedited service and expedited shipping. I got my congressman's office involved late last week. They called me this morning and said it's on it's way and will be here tomorrow or Thursday. If it's not here on Thursday I'm camping out at the State Department to be there when it opens on Friday morning.

Got an appointment in Houston to get a passport today. There were people there that applied in early may - but I have friends in my group that applied mid June and got there’s last week. Seems like a completely random shite show.
