Thanks, Tommy. I recently read about this series via Eddie Trunk's twitter feed. It's a cool idea.

It’s really well done, very entertaining. Even the crazy clock making dwarf Danny Spitz makes an appearance.

Meant to post in this earlier.
I'm in my mid 50s and have a few friends who like metal, but they are stuck in the 70s & 80s style. I love a lot of that stuff especially Maiden & RJD but there's so much incredible music in metal since then. The BIG obstacle is growl/scream vocals. My friends hear a growl and it's an immediate hard NO. I don't typically like it if it's the only vocal, but as an added flavor I have grown to really like it. Opeth of course was a huge influence there, now Jinjer, Ne Obliviscaris and some other bands that layer clean & growls really have my ear.
So the one big thing I wish in modern metal is that there were more "only or mostly clean vocals" choices. It's mostly power metal which I find typically a bit less satisfying. I love prog & symphonic but even they have crept toward more use of growl/scream vocals.

Queued it up tonight - very very good, thanks! I think I'd heard of Theocracy a little but they're much more on my radar now, will listen to more of them this weekend.
