I can't believe that SVG told Lonzo to miss all his shots today -- why would he tell him to do that?

We’d win some games if we fired him now so that’s not a good idea.

Was expecting him to replay the Curry flop since he had 4 fouls already. I would have taken the chance to get him his 5th at that point and get him out of the game.

If SVG is still here in a few years Zion won't be.

I’m not a fan of SVG either. But he is the least of our problems right now tbh. I’m more worried with Griffin finding the right players that can fit with this team.

Definitely not true. When your team constantly makes the same mistakes over and over and your team has played uninspired ball 15 too many times this season, it eventually comes back on the coach. This dude couldn't even figure out that he should be playing zion down the stretch in the 4th quarter until about a month ago. Is he the only issue, no and he is definitely not the least significant

I used to believe that until we hired a proven defensive guru. Doesn't matter who the coach is, the result will be the same. Building a defense around Zion and Ingram will take some special switchable and physical defensive players. Zion has an excuse to be a below average defender right now and there's hope he'll get better but Ingram is what he is.

We're going to need guys like Avery Bradley types who can defend at a high level with a ability to stretch the floor and a Bam Adebayo level big who can defend out to the 3 point line. It's going to be tough to fill those roles without drafting early on in the draft.

A guy like Scottie Barnes could solve a lot of those issues as he could defend all 5 positions. I'm really hoping he falls in this upcoming draft.

I can see your POV. I agree with you during the beginning of the season. How he didn’t want to play our rookies at all. But lately, it seems like it’s more on the players than on the coach. Frustrating to see how Bledsoe ignored SVG. Also SVG calling out the team to worry about defense just as much as they worry about their offense. He can do so much to get through these guys heads but you can’t fault him for having low BBIQ players. That’s why I want to see him with a veteran point guard. BI and Zion loves his approach to coaching. Knicks and Wizards look so different when Westbrook finally got healthy and when Knicks got Rose for a steal.

But right now, like superstar say, it doesn’t matter who we hire if we don’t have the players for it. Lonzo is inconsistent, we really don’t have a backup PF and also a sharp shooter. Plus a guy who can be a lockdown defender at all positions. This roster needs some rebuilding before finding a replacement coach. Gundy is serviceable for now..
