That place rocked for Stars games. ‘99 Cup year was bonkers.

The Pyramid looks badass. I love creative architecture. I only wish I would of went to see it in person before Memphis and the Grizzlies left. It's really sad it only hosted games for 13 years before it was outdated. I don't understand why it was built right next to the Mississippi River? Was there nowhere else to build it?

Another place I regret not going to is the old St. Louis Arena. It looks like an old cathedral. I wish the new arenas today could have all the nice amenities on the inside. But keep some of the same vintage architecture on the outside. If I'm not mistaken, it hosted some memorable NCAA Tournament games and boxing matches.

Need to have ncaa tournament games in Worcester again

Ah, the old Centrum. I remember the orange and black trim on the floor ,before the NCAAT got the generic floors, when hosting NCAAT games in the late 80's-early 90's. Good times.

I've been to Wrigley, Fenway, Old Yankee Stadium, Old Comisky Park, etc. But, Tiger Stadium was my favorite stadium I've ever been to to watch a baseball game. More than any other old stadium, I felt as if I was brought back in time when I entered the stadium and watched a game there. It was in a horrible part of Detroit, and I could understand the Tigers wanting to get a new stadium in a better part of town. But it was a magical place. It was like you could see Ty Cobb playing in the field. Great, great old ballpark.

The Pyramid isn't all that far from Beale.

The Edward Jones Dome is, I believe, still used for conventions and events.

Unfortunately, we are in a society that is embracing the disposables. Iconic stadiums and buildings are simply demolished when there are alternatives that are rarely used. The Ballpark in Arlington wasn’t exactly iconic, but it had its own unique set of features. The Rangers didn’t hesitate to move on from that place.

I agree with what you said about the old St. Louis Arena.

Going to Blues games in the Arena as a kid are still the loudest events I've ever attended. Your ears would be ringing on the way out.
