Cassidy is just the latest example. All the calls and emails to Cassidy don’t mean shite. Trump wins Louisiana by outstanding margin and while the citizens support trump, Cassidy supports conviction in the senate. It’s not just Louisiana. There’s very few senators or congressman who give two shits what their constituents want.

Newsflash. They care if you'd bother to show up and vote. If you don't vote, then you aren't their concern or their constituent. If you're going to continue voting for them regardless of their behavior, they're still not going to care.
Hold them accountable and they will care. Nothing says loser like holding a bunch of campaign donations from lobbyists and a failed election ticket.

It’s bullshite. I read Trumps entire transcript. Every time he mentions fighting, it’s in a specific context that is non-violent.
At the very end, he mentions fighting back in no specific context. That’s the only place someone could interpret a violent intent.
Except earlier in the speech he said we will walk down to the capitol and peacefully cheer on our senators to do the right thing.
There’s more evidence it’s harmless and none inciting insurrection.
So anyone going against Trump is a GOPe.

Congressmen represent the people, Senators represent the state and until recently were all appointed by the governors.
Senators don’t give a rip about individual representation.

Cassidy sure is living off his fresh new 6 year term. He knows he doesn’t have to give a shite for 5 years and then by then most people won’t even remember.

With 93% of incumbents getting reelected, why should they?

Close, but not quite right. They view the multi-national companies that fund their campaigns as their constituency and represent them quite well.
