Pittman cited problems with manpower, delayed approval to send in National Guardsmen, and radio communications issues on the day of the attack that would need to be addressed going forward. She also admitted the department "should have been more prepared for this attack" given intelligence it received by Jan. 4 indicating that the Jan. 6 event "would not be like any of the previous protests held in 2020."

If the Capitol attack was planned in advance, how was Trump’s speech responsible?

She was correct.

It wasn't as deadly or destructive as any of the 2020 "protests"

What intelligence could there have been? I saw the people inside the Capitol on TV. Talk about a mass of humanity. Seemed like total chaos without any kind of a plan. Those who got inside mostly looked like they found a bunch of empty rooms and horsed around a bunch. They're acting like this was redneck D-Day.

No widescale looting?

No widescale arson?

No widescale destruction of property?

First live round fired on "protesters?"

Yeah...it WAS different.

Don't be bringing all that logic and reasoning in here. We all know Trump did it all. Everything bad is OMB did it!
