China was hurting so bad they unleashed the WuFlu on the world, lol.
China was losing, badly. Supply chains were already shifting out of China to other countries. It was working. Then they retaliated with WuFlu, basically taking an economic war and turning it into a hot war (not acknowledged yet) by committing biological warfare.
