CP2077 is fraud.
The courts will surly toss it out.

Assuming the complaint is worded adequately, those allegations would probably survive a motion to dismiss in a fiduciary duty type of lawsuit in the US. Now, they’d have to get some proof that they actively withheld info from the investors in malicious way to ultimately win which is incredibly difficult from an evidentiary standpoint. I also have no idea if Poland’s laws on this would be different because I’m not sure a US investor could use US law unless it’s listed on a public exchange over here.
Yeah I don't know about any of that. I just think it shows that at least some investors are mad enough to try to sue over it. Whether they have standing or not, no company wants investors to be mad enough to sue them.

This game may have been announced 8(?) years ago but in my opinion it only went through 2 or 3 years of development tops.

Another lesson to be learned is don't announce your project until a decent amount of progress has already been made on it.
Announcing your next project when it's entirely just an idea in somebody's head sets you up for the "8 years LOL" memes.

Because it’s an incredible game

What percentage of that 13M has bought the game twice. My first copy was for PS4 and the 2nd was for PC. I might buy a copy for Xbox once I get my own Series X.

I downloaded it and for some reason my other games and apps started to screw up so I completed it and reset my PC. It's like I downloaded a virus because I haven't had that issue since. I wont ever get a game on release after that now. I used to love doing those pre-orders and now that's not happening.
