A lot of teams wanted him. The Texans fans talked about him like he was the missing piece.
Our FO nailed this one. Created cap space & got Ruiz in the 1st.
Warford is still a solid player, but he isn't worth 12/13 mil. Regardless of all the recent bullshite...I give our FO an A for this off-season.

Someone on the radio today—it may have been Moscona—made a good point. Said a lot of bubble guys are gonna take the guaranteed $150k or $350k and the additional year of service accrual towards their pension rather than risk getting cut.

The money is an advancement towards the 2021 season. So they don't play, i believe they have to pay it back.

Does his money this season come off our cap? Could we use his salary this season on another player?
