We going to run out of coaches at this rate

quote:

Pelicans assistant coach Jamelle McMillan will not be joining the team in Orlando, per a team source. McMillan is staying back to care for his newborn son. The team is supportive of McMillan staying behind.

McMillan joins Jeff Bzdelik as Pels' coaches not going to Orlando.

It really is getting pretty obvious that the NBA would be better off cancelling this restart and concentrating on getting things in order for the offseason in hopes of starting the season in mid to late December.

.

What? He is staying behind to take care of his newborn son.

Just saw that Swin Cash won't be making the trip either.

The only execs that are going are Griff and Langdon.

Not having McMillan go stinks because I argue he's best defensive coach outside of Bzdelik.

Nancy Lieberman in the list of alternates. She does have some experience and coaches currently in the Big 3 league.

Wait you can hire alternate coaches? If so, Nancy would be a fantastic get...also wonder if they'd use Weatherspoon.

Did I say anything about his reasoning? There are more and more players/coaches who are not going. Heck, I am not sure the Nets can field a team. It really is a sham just to get all of the TV money the NBA can get. There is not other reason to even attempt this restart.

Aren't all professional sports about making money? I don't understand why the NBA making money is supposed to be bad.

If its a sham then the players should just all opt out and forfeit their remaining money.

They won't do that though, and the owners have to pay them, so they gotta play.
