I'm finally trying the Johnny Trigg method for ribs. 2 racks that way and 2 racks of a sort of experimental batch I wanted to try. Butter, brown sugar, bourbon and maple syrup.

My Masterbuilt is giving me all kinds of grief today. I was set at 235 but struggling to maintain 220 for a while. Then I went to put my foiled ribs back on and my amazen tube was catching fire. time for another beer.

Grilled shrimp and grilled “sunshine” chicken tacos. The sunshine chicken was supposed to be marinated in tamarind soda garlic and soy sauce, but couldn’t find any so I used Parish SIPS sunshine. Pretty good but the shrimp is incredible. Basted with pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, lime juice, and lime peel.

2.5-1.5-1 ribs. They are currently wrapped. Not letting the rain or the terrorists win today







Corn was 6 for $1 yesterday, so I’ll be grilling that to go on the side with some coleslaw.
