If you can smell a fart through underwear and pants, do you really think a small mask will stop a virus.

Ingenious study.

Watch this YouTube video from some Japanese research using lasers to show droplets generated with and without a face covering.

Farts rise because the molecular weight of methane is 16 while air is 29

Methane does not give a fart is pungent power.
I thought disulfide gas like when I eat eggs gives a very harsh olfactory sensation.

It needs to be studied.

“Ending the Pandemic through Forced Flatulence.” A randomized trial involving the study of high content sulfur flatus, standard flatus, and reduced flatus diets.

I’ll need at least $5 million of seed money to get started. This could be the answer we are looking for in order to be “together” again.

Or is it just theory?

It is just a theory. But one that seems to make sense.

Even with 100% quarantines (these aren't quarantines, quarantines are no one in or out), the CDC information even says you can't stop the virus. So, the masks are not going to help in anything measurable, and mostly likely people are actually transporting more material with infected particles.

This has been talked to death two months ago.

Snake oil.

Yeah, but that only tells one factor of many. What are people doing with the masks? Are they using the masks more than one time, how are they sanitizing the mask, themselves, other materials that come in contact with the masks and personal items?

These masks don't do shite, matter of fact, the way people are using them... they are just germ spreaders along with their silly gloves.

My N-95 mask stops 95% of air borne particles that are 0.3 microns diameter and more than 95% of larger particles. Best data I can find shows respirable aerosols from humans are in the 2 - 10 micron size.

So, in an infectious atmosphere, if I'm wearing an N-95 mask and you're not, you will breath in a virus dose greater than 19 times the virus dose I breath in.

The Coronavirus is .12 microns (as per the Mayo Clinic).
