Saturday, specifically... Looks like good weather and good tidal movement. Any recent reports?

Tide looks good but noaa is predicting west winds at 10-15kts and 2-4ft seas. May want to keep track of that and maybe make a game time decision

I’m gonna try Sunday. As of now, we should have some good sun for sight fishing.

I was looking at going Sunday but the wind looks like it’ll be 10-15 mph now.

Go anyway. Usually they’re wrong. Even if it’s windy, if You wait for it not to be you may not go for a long time.

Windfinder was telling me the opposite. Supposed to be really windy on Saturday but it’s going to die down sometime on Sunday. Like the poster above me said, they are not too good at predicting wind speed this time of the year.

I’m going Sunday. Looks like gusts to 20 tomorrow morning. Will be leaving out of Hopedale early Sunday.

Just got back. Very very windy. Lake campo looked not quite like chocolate milk but it wasn’t near clean. Tide was rolling too. Oh and there were about 100 boats running bc I think it was a bad day for most people. Water in twin pipeline was clean but water in lake fausan was beautiful. No fish though. I ran all over Delacroix for 4 fish. Better than being stuck inside though

Man frick that wind forecast. Yesterday it was projecting less than 5mph on Saturday. Now it's getting up to 15? They're just fricking with us right?

I'm going in the morning. Intending to focus on Reds and Bass in the Spanish Lake area so hoping the winds won't affect me too much that deep in the Marsh.

You can usually find clean water that way. I will be in the marsh around manuel's canal.

The wind forecast from NOAA and buoy data apps for shell beach are usually very accurate. But I know what you mean. I was telling a buddy yesterday it was gonna be windy and he said I was nuts.

How'd you do? I got skunked except for 2 throwback white bass. Didn't see anyone else catching, nor was anyone cleaning fish at any of the cleaning tables at the launches or private boat docks...

One of my coworkers fished a bass tournament that day out there as well. He only caught 3 bass. The stringer that won the tournament only netted 18lbs. So it seemed to be a bad day for Delacroix.

I did see reports of lots of trout from Biloxi Marsh area...

7-8 redfish and 4 bass. F that wind man. Tried to sight cast but it was nearly impossible so I reverted to throwing spoons in ditches or deeper holes in the grass. I could tell by the blow ups that there were fish everywhere but the wind made it impossible to see anything.

Friday I caught a nice mixed box of trout, reds, drum & sheeps in a pond off Lake Calebasse. First tried Campo and found dirty water, strong winds & hard incoming tide.
