Yeah I saw that they didn't tender him
Wonder if he would come in as the 3rd tight end/ receiver
With cook always a risk to get hurt and hill mainly a blocker, he would be perfect

Anyone think we are done until after the draft and then seeing what's out there?

Everson Griffen is a free agent now, solid veteran option that shouldn’t cost too much. Great pass rusher as well.

Didn’t want to start a whole thread on it

Are we re-structuring Janoris Jenkins’ contract at all? Or just rolling as is?

No way he’ll be ok with being a back up if only for one year

His Contract is up after 2020. He should play it out and go FA.

Tho the Texans should trade him if they think this will happen.

Anyone have thoughts on Kamalei Correa a linebacker?

Kamalei Correa is off the board. He was 1 of the few LB's that looked like a potential option.

Titans re-signed OLB Kamalei Correa to a one-year contract.
It's worth "up to" $3.5 million. 26 later this month, Correa is coming off a career-best five sacks last season while playing 593 snaps. The former second-round pick of the Ravens was traded to the Titans ahead of the 2018 campaign and has 8.5 sacks across two seasons in Nashville after registering zero in Baltimore. Correa will compete with newcomer Vic Beasley, Harold Landry, and Reggie Gilbert for snaps in a Cameron Wake-less defense.

NFL considering tweak to allow teams more time to complete a trade during draft

Posted by Josh Alper on April 1, 2020, 11:31 AM EDT NBCsports
quote:

NFL vice president of football operations Troy Vincent said the league is considering allowing teams more time to complete a deal while they are on the clock.

Vincent suggested it would be a one-time exemption available to each team.

quote:

The war rooms usually in use won’t be open, but the league announced Tuesday that teams will be able to have a group of less than 10 people gathered in a room during the draft as long as they maintain social distancing.

They also said they’re discussing another change that reflects possible difficulties in completing trades during the draft.

Ricky Seals-Jones off the board...

Chiefs signed TE Ricky Seals-Jones to a one-year contract.
Seals-Jones spent 2019 in a committee role with the Browns despite David Njoku missing most of the season. He set a career best with four touchdowns but was also held catchless in 7-of-16 games. Seals-Jones will replace Demetrius Harris in Kansas City as the No. 2 tight end behind Travis Kelce.

A player of ours that we traded for Kiko Alonso last year...

Dolphins re-signed LB Vince Biegel to a one-year, $2.133 million contract.
It's the value of Biegel's original-round tender as a restricted free agent. The sides discussed a multi-year deal but couldn't come to terms. The former fourth-rounder of the Packers recorded the first 2.5 sacks of his career last season, his first with Miami. With Kyle Van Noy, Shaq Lawson, and Emmanuel Ogbah now in tow, Biegel could see his snaps dialed back in 2020.
