I don't feel there will be much of a drop off in the run game with Brennan vs Burrow

Like most here, been watching a lot of '19 replays, and 2 that I usually skip are NW State and Utah State. From the last couple of drives Brennan had against NW State, he looked really comfortable navigating the pocket and tucking and running when he needed to. Against Utah State, he had to come in on 1 play in the 1st quarter when Burrow lost his helmet, and it was a QB draw where he picked up 7.

Maybe this was common knowledge that he's a decent runner, but I guess in my head I worried that Brennan, considered a pro-style passer coming out of high school, would favor Mett more than Burrow when it came to planting himself in the backfield. Burrow's ability to shift around the pressure and either finding the open receiver or getting the tough first truly separated him this year, and I was worried we would miss it. I'd say Myles will have a handle on it.

Based on those 2 games I watched

I dint See him breaking tackles like Burrow.

Early in we ran more Read Options with Brennan than Burrow.

Joe didn’t really get Introduced Into the real run game until maybe the Bama game with a few big time Draws.

I honestly don't feel we need that...or want it. Burrow played the position like a LB, and as admirable and fun as that was to watch, you always worried about him taking that 1 hit that would end his season. I really thought he broke his back on that horse collar tackle vs A&M. Brennan obviously isn't built like Burrow, so he'd have to be more cautious in that, but he doesn't need to be a full back. Being able to pick up 5 or 8 yards every time the coverage is too good is so vital.

just find and review the Auburn game from last year. JB is the only reason we won that game. Just look at the potential sacks he got out of, and made positive plays. Any other qb would have taken sacks. No one has that kind of talent on our roster now. you are going to be very disappointed. We would have also lost the Texas game, more than likely Alabama, Florida. You don't realize what a difference JB made on that team. He made that offense work. His receivers dropped very few passes. It wasn't all new offense. It was players doing their job.

Not sure about all of this, but he is the reason the Oline won the Joe Moore award. He bailed them out plenty of times.

You mean the all time record setting Heisman winner was the reason we won a lot of those games? Shut up.

ETA I feel it's fair to say CEH had a lot to do with winning vs Auburn and Alabama.

You’re naive if you think there won’t be a significant drop off from the greatest college QB of all time

From 183 to 219!

I'll believe that when the official roster with weights are released.

MB has a super fast metabolism and it has taken his body a few years to submit to the Moffitt plan...…...

Burrow made those moves so well because he worked so hard studying the defense before the game. He nearly always knew where every player was and when he missed he just covered up and took the sack.
