Well done post makes me envious. My wife and I did two trips to Bob Marshall and the terain was really close and a hike thru Glacier. The Tetons were alway going to be a walk but never happened. really enjoyed the photos.

We have been discussing doing a similar trip. Anyone have any advice on which airport to fly into coming from Houston? We not interested in driving to/from

United does Jackson Hole. Can I rent an RV in Jackson?

There are people in Jackson who rent pop up campers. For an RV, you’d probably want to fly into Salt Lake City.

Your airport options are

SLC
JAC
BZN

Bozeman would be a good choice if wanted to go up to Glacier at some point during your trip.

I live here in Jackson, and I love Grand Teton, but Glacier is my favorite park.

Nice post. Love Grand Teton. If you want to do something with more lakes, more glaciers, great fishing, and all without a trail take a look at Lake Clark National Park. Difficult and expensive to get here, but well worth the trip (also a great place to quarantine yourself). When I say without a trail, I mean you basically plan your own route and find your own way.

So amazing, I am looking forward to starting my hiking, backpacking life next year with the APT thru hike. I want to do some long weekend hikes this summer but don't know if the beer flu will allow for it.

Amazing post!
