They are killing my grass and I see little mounds everywhere. Any suggestions?

Mole crickets love excessive thatch. Aerate and dethatch the lawn. Chemical control with merit will work the best.

Mole crickets are friends. They're cool little homies.

I don’t mind bugs, but they are clearing out the grass. Just dirt where they’ve been.

If you dump soapy water on your lawn they come to the surface and you can pick them up. Not BSing. It works immediately. I don’t know what percentage you get like that but it works. I think Talstar is the best but only works certain times a year when they are young.

I don’t have mole crickets but they are on the label for the talstar(bifen) I have.

Get a mixed terrier type dog. Mine digs mole crickets up like it’s her job, then brings them to me.

I see Talstar mentioned but merit is better.

If you don't spray/spread after their eggs hatch but before the juveniles start reproducing they will come back. In my area (Florida panhandle) that is roughly mid April. I assume Louisiana is similar. I just basically applied granular pesticide twice in April to make sure I got them.
