Come on guys. Taysom hill is not a franchise QB. this is stupid. No way this get is as productive once he is predictive.

Hill isn't getting a huge deal either way

What makes you think Hill gets a huge deal. From hearing SP, it appears they are going to throw a tender on him (I speculate a 1st) to see if the market will set his price. If it's more than they want to pay, Saints get a 1st.
(My speculation) If he does not get an offer before the draft, I think the Saints make a reasonable offer (mid level back-up money) knowing they have the leverage of the tender (~6M if 1st tendered).

You don't know this just as the Tay Posse don't know that he will be. We simply have not seen enough of him as fans to make an accurate judgement. Payton has, and whatever direction he decides to go means we have to trust is the correct assessment of Tay's ability to run this team.
What's really stupid is this arguing back and forth with such extreme emphatics that he is going to be a star or a bust

Whats the definition of "huge"?
The average non-rookie contract QB starter is $26M/year.
That's the top 20 paid QBs.

I remember when the rant imploded when Orgeron was hired. Pretty cool how we all can predict the future.

this is the truth...anything else is fanboys and haters.
Edit: but then again, that's what ST is all about

I have two opinions on TayTay. (people who know him call him TayTay)
1. I have seen nothing from him that says he can't be a fine NFL QB.
2. I have seen nothing from him that says he can be a fine NFL QB.

says the guy who laughed at thinking someone given a starting qb job in the league would sign for an avg value of 15 mill per year for all of his prime years.

He probably laughed at thinking Taysom would be signed to be someone's starter. Or that Taysom would get a contract worth 15 mil a yr.

I too have shown nothing that says I can or cannot be a fine NFL QB. I'll accept a minimum deal and do whatever SP needs me to do.

Everything Hill has done for the Saints, Kordell Stewart did for the Steelers in the 90's. He wasn't that good when he just had to stand in the pocket and make decisions.
They both threw for 6k in yds in college.

Just hope Hill realizes his gifts are a blessing in disguise but really Saints want a full time QB not a Jack of all Trades.

Exactly, not a great take by the OP! I say this because the bases for this post is Hill getting a HUGE deal, which he won't!
