My usaa daily mobile deposit is 100k. After you've had an active account for a while they raise your limits quickly.

You can call and get a temporary increase. They are really easy to deal with.

Have used USAA for a lot of years. Couple of observations.

They just transferred their investment arm for the second time recently. Now going to Charles Schwab. Don't know whether good or bad and don't know about fees.

Their customer service, which use to be top notch, is slipping. Had dozens of contacts with them in 2019 due to death in family of military member. Depends on who you get. A lot of reading canned statements out of training manuals. A lot of contradictory information. Even had a couple to whom English was not their native language. The department they transfer you to, because "we don't handle that here", is always unavailable. Had to ask to speak to supervisors several times. And when the supervisor calls you back you better answer or they go black.

Very disappointing compared to what they use to be. As a veteran never thought I would consider pulling everything, banking, credit cards, investments out.

I don't use Schwab but I have heard very good things about them.

I use Fidelity for everything (investing/checking/billpay/credit card) and love them. Though when I retire, I plan to split my portfolio between Fidelity and Schwab so it's not all in one place.

Oddly enough your paycheck deposits a day earlier with USAA than any other bank I've used.

USAA has the fastest releases of any bank I have used. They never put a hold on any of my mobile deposits, transfers, etc. In fact, they post my friday paychecks on the thursday before.

This. Definitely one of the best features. Also love having their 2.5% cashback on everything credit card. Haven't been too impressed with any of their other products though, including insurances.

I keep another account with Capital One for cash deposits

i use usaa for everyday banking. I can deposit 100K via mobile deposit and the funds are available immediately. You can request a temp increase if you need. Open an account at a local place if you deal with a lot of cash.

Here's their ATM location (usually near bases). Find one and deposit your check. LINK
