Suing sanctuary cities

Haven't seen this discussed but what are your thoughts on it from a legal perspective?

There have to be consequences to stop this BS. If their actions cause harm, they should be held responsible.

It only seems fair, they are breaking Federal law, and letting criminals out to do mayhem on the American people. Americans have a right to sue if damaged by Sanctuary cities criminal decisions...

if those cities would followed lawful designations this wouldnt be a problem. There would be no americans dying or losing loved ones because some cities would rather protect violent criminal aliens (not saying they are all violent this type of thing refers to the violent ones). Sue away, they deserve the win

Suing them is the very LEAST that should happen. I'd rather see Federal Marshals go in and arrest the leadership of the city/county/state who think they can operate outside of the US Constitution

First thing I though of was democratic legislation under Obama allowing people who's loved ones lost their lives to gun violence being allows (or made easier) to sue fire arm and ammunition manufactures.
Sounds good on paper but I don't know how feasible it is. Cities and States have deep pockets. The average person will not be able to sustain the weeks, months or even years in court proceedings.

Protect and serve....if you release violent criminals back into the community and they commit horrendous crimes. Who's fault is that. The city, and they should be held responsible.
