We’ve seen some of our biggest deer late in the season over the years. Between getting hungry and looking for the last unbread does, they get on their feet.

sick toddler who's momma is going to bringing him to the Dr. While I run to the processor to pickup and dropoff.
Most activity we saw all year the past two days up there and we had to leave.

Came freshen up littlecountry’s feed pile. Just going to let her take her first shot with her new rifle at her first deer. Not going to chance her being scared of the recoil, even though it isn’t that bad. Brought the 35 and a few white bottles so I figured I’d take a sit.

An ol baw I hunt with kilt a big mature 8pt this evening. Ruts re-commencing warm shitty weather shut them down over Christmas I guess.
