Stopped at my local gun shop after work today. I was talking to the guy about the new python and if they would be getting any in. I opened my mouth to much and mentioned that I wanted to get a .357 revolver for really the only reason that I didn’t have one.

Well he pulls out a Ruger GP100 that someone traded in not long ago. They had it priced at $400. After a quick gunbroker search it came home with me.

Have you left the gun stock or made any mods?

Same thing happen to me at a pawn shop. My GP100 was only $325 but it was near 8 years ago.

Did that once with a couple S&W 686s with different barrels. Told the guy I really wanted one, but I couldn't decide, he said "why don't you get both." I said no way, went back the next day and bought them both. My favorites. Love revolvers. The GP is next.
