Any insight as to when the iMac will be redesigned?

Isn’t it just a box that you plug a monitor into?

It's an all-in-one isn't it?

The latest versions are pretty nice. They’re super thin.

I still have a 2011 one I just use for music mostly. If I try to do anything much more it doesn’t handle it well...but it’s also an 8 year old machine. I say that to mean I wouldn’t worry to much about a major redesign because they’re going to last a very long time.

Yea I've always wanted a laptop crammed in to a back of a monitor that's not portable

now is a good time. I have a 2012 MacBook and a 2013 Mac Pro. ...the Catalina update effectively ruined every app I’ve happily used on the laptop for the last 10 years.

You get a $200.00 gift card from Apple the next couple of days...

LINK

And it looks like Amazon has them a straight $200.00 off.

I'm still running my 2009 model. It's slow but it works pretty well for its age.

iMac Pro is a badass all in one. I have (2) iMac 5K's and (6) MBP's for my family.

ETA: If you do video editing - this is a fantastic machine.

We were waiting for one last Christmas, but the refresh didn't happen in time. Considering there was a delay on this one and it was only a minor refresh, I wouldn't hold your breath on a redesign in early 2020. Ultimately we opted for a mini paired with a massive display. Came out better and less expensive.

FWIW my office is entirely iMac, and we like them. But the fact that they're so slow to refresh and that Apple still sells the lowest two models with 5400rpm drive is pathetic. That you have to pay a premium just to get the ok-not-great fusion drive is frustrating.

Yeah, I've always wanted a laptop that runs Windows.
