Thinking about getting one of these phones. Anybody here have any experiences with them, or a reason to recommend one over the other?

Leaning toward the 7 Pro because it's cheaper and has very little bezel.

Both great. I’ve used both. Stuck with Pixel 4 XL in a close one.

Camera on the OnePlus is greatly improved to previous models. Can’t go wrong with either.

I've had Pixel 1 and now 3. I just ordered the OnePlus 7T. Dealing with google for warranty problems really put a sour taste in my mouth. They wanted me to send the pixel 3 in and they would get it back to me in 2 weeks. Luckily Verizon took care of it through my protection plan even though it was a warranty issue. Not impressed by the 4 either.

I've read mostly negative things on the 4XL so I'd give the OnePlus a try.

I still love my pixel, but man can you imagine pixel software with hardware and price point like the 7t...

Google better step it up with the 5 or I will be switching to a different manufacturer

The OnePlus 7 Pro is an amazing value. If I was in the market for a new phone. I would be buying that.

So Google makes warranty issues a pain in the arse?

This is my interpretation. Pixel used to be a flagship killer by offering huge specs at a tremendous value, but it seems like they've gone the traditional flagship route with mixed reviews.

Agreed, they have gone the route of others in thinking they can overcome hardware limitations with killer software. The question is, what could they do with incredible hardware with killer software at a decent price

There is no loaner phone or them sending you one first. You send your phone in and they say you should get it back in 2 weeks. I think it's a little different if you buy it from Google. Mine is from Verizon though. I had to go through my protection plan for the fingerprint sensor being crooked. Verizon will tell you at first that google handles the warranties. Pretty shitty.

Pixel has always been expensive. I have an OG and 2XL and love them both, but they weren't cheap. Just have to decide what you're willing to sacrifice for stock Android, unfortunately.

I picked up the OP7p. Got it last Friday. Really impressive device. Has all the features I want (new processor, supports all the R-mobile LTE bands, 8GB of ram, and a good sized battery) Probably only negative for me is the curved display. I just prefer a flat one but for the price I can live with a curved. V I was between the 7T and Pixel 4 XL and when they had the black Friday deal on the OP7Pro ($521 shipped with EDU discount) I gave the 7Pro a try and I do not regret it at all. Any specific questions just ask.

I'm on the fence between Samsung S10(refurb) or Oneplus 7T(new). Not real sure if I need a phone that big. Need to decide soon though.
