this is a very open ended question. For anyone to give you actual rec.'s they'll need to know your skill level and if you're a good ball striker and that wants to be able to work the ball or if you need to improve ball striking and looking for irons to help with that

Mostly play during the Fall / Summer time. Especially summer, I play 4/5 times a month. Nothing special about my game. Just tired of swinging these handed down wilsons. Wanting to upgrade to something more consistent maybe?

GO get fitted somewhere. That will give you a starting point.

Go to golfwrx classifieds. Great deals from people who buy way too many clubs.

Consider Tour Edge Exotics. The new HL4 line is very playable at any skill level, very forgiving], and at a great price point.
GEAUX GET FIT by a certified professional. Worth every penny.

Can never go wrong with a Ping set if you are a mid or higher handicap. I have some Ping G400s I'm thinking about selling. Need to get into some Srixons or Mizunos

Get fit is the best advice.
Like a pair of shoes that dont fit. They may be shiny, but if your feet hurt like hell... who cares?

Anything made in the last 2-5 years will all be great clubs and a decent discount vs new.
But I didn't follow this advice. I got fit and bought new.

At least give us a starting point.

Do you hit the current irons well? If so, try to keep same shaft in em and upgrade the heads. Iron tech doesn't change that drastically so look for a good set of used from a few years ago. All of the main companies make good stuff.

If you want simplicity, check out some of the single length market and see if that does it for you.

Mizuno MP-18

They have a variety of options in the 18 lineup and they’re all great depending on what you’re looking for. You can probably get a steal on a used set.
