Why don’t I see threads in reverse saying,” imagine how much our offense would score if our defense got off the field faster? “

Our defense does get off the field quickly for big chunks of the game. How do you think we went up 33-13 on Alabama, or 28-0 last night?

Blazing fast, 6'0" slippery white boy QBs running to the outside also hurts our Defense

That has nothing to do with anything. That’s so overused.

No. That’s probably the worst excuse I’ve seen so far. Ole Miss marched 70 yards on their first possession. 60 yards on the first two plays.

Difficult to get tired when the other offense scores in 2 plays.

This team is legit and will buckle down when needed. Hard to get excited for a game like this after beating Bama. Still won by 21, not 2.

There is some truth to that but it’s not the problem. The big plays are what’s concerning the most. Players just way out of position. I mean a couple of those runs it looked like we had 9 on the field.

The defense literally gave up a touchdown on 2 plays after halftime.

The next drive, LSU's offense goes on a SEVENTEEN play drive that took 6 minutes and gets a FG

Ole Miss then gets another TD on 2 plays.

Its not the offense

Yep. This thread is a low football IQ take.

Also, a 3 and out affects the defense just the same. We had none of this issues before with our shitty offense. The defense kept us in a lot of games.

The issue is something else.

All I know is the offense allowed us to win by 3 TDs and could have been 4 TDs if we didn’t let up.

Agreed. It sure seems as most of the guys that were praising Aranda and ragging on the Offense for being bad, are now defending the Aranda D and calling anyone that mentions the defense's shortcomings, a Nega. MY, my, my, how the tables have turned
