No way does he want to play at Ole Miss.

I get what y'all are saying about their program, but for an upper/middle class white college kid, Oxford is incredible and filled with hot girls. It is 5 hours from New Orleans and an easy drive from home for him and his family as well.

And the damn speed limit on campus is his grandfather's jersey number. He is royalty by blood in that city and would be prince while there. Just like Eli was. Cooper, his dad, is still a huge Ole Miss fan as well.

I could absolutely see him going there.

I absolutely wasn’t trying to knock the kid’s talent or ability whatsoever. Just was curious and then made an observation about the human nature of how some players respond when they know they won’t be hit vs the alternative (especially young QB’s). I don’t think it’s unreasonable to mention it at all

His first HS game, he went 22-34 for 230 yards and 3 TDS. Saturday Down South already has a feature about him that was posted after his first ball game. So he looks the part already.

Second game against Bonnabel, public school team, Manning accounted for 5 TDS 3 Passing, 2 Running in a 44-7 win. Young Manning looks like a baller. See film attached. The Saturday down south article has film as well.

I believe HE would definitely listen. I just don’t believe grandpa would ever allow it.

All of the Manning kids have always seemed very independent and self-assured. I can’t imagine this kid being swayed away from a school he really wants to go to by anyone including his grandfather.

Archie didn’t tell his sons where they could or couldn’t go. He obviously wouldn’t do that to his grandson neither.

By the time this kid is a Senior he will be the most well known recruit coming out of High School ever. The buzz around him will be unreal.

Nobody thought Peyton would go to Tenn. If Ole Miss doesn't have their stuff squared away I could see him going elsewhere much like his Uncle.

Booty committed to LSU so Peyton immediately looked elsewhere.

You’re fricking delusional. Peyton liked Lynn Amedee, but was only being cordial. He, nor Eli, nor Arch ever did or ever will seriously consider LSU.

What if I told you that the only reason he didn’t go to Ole Miss is because they were on probation?

I think if Brady is here as HC or OC and sassy HC it could be possible - Saints connection - maybe

Then I’d say what a coincidence. Second times the charm.

This is the correct answer. The entire Manning family hates LSU.

If LSU is going to get a Manning this may be the best opportunity with Ole miss and Tennessee being dumpster fires.

Our luck though, he will go to clempson, Bama or UGA

I think LSU has a good chance of getting the young Archie Manning. First thing is his Dad (Copper) was raised in New Orleans, young Archie grew up in New Orleans. I bet the Family doesn't go to Mississippi as much any more. The Ole Miss. Coach can't recruit as good as Coach O. LSU always in the top 10 in recruiting. The past 2 years Ole Miss finish in the low 20' in recruiting. The final reason is that Coach O has open up the Offence.
