I'm making pork chops tonight. Anyone have a good rub/spice recipe?

I'm also looking for a coffee rub recipe.

I use S&P on brisket and other beef, maybe a little cumin.

For pork, I like Meathead’s Memphis Dust, recipe posted on Amazing Ribs. I mix up a bunch and keep it in a Mason jar for ribs, butt, and chicken.

My go to run for any beef is Hardcore Carnivore Black. That mess makes cows taste like the best food on earth.

I keep it real simple. First I dust it with Tony's, then I put a light covering of salt/pepper/paprika, balance those three to taste. I'm usually a little heavier on the paprika and lighter on the pepper.

I bought some of this after reading about it on here and was really disappointed. Sure it makes your food look good but it completely overpowers the flavor of the beef. I've tried it with steaks, burgers, and pork chops. It honestly paired best with the pork chops.

I use it for pork chops too but the trick is to not use it as thick as you see in the pictures. Some people post pics of meat that is jet black and that must be some salty meat. When I use it, the meat looks like I seared it and then threw it on some coals and pulled it out.

There's a misconception out there among people new to smoking and bbq that it's the rub that turns into the crust, so they layer shite on it.

I miss the Hardcore Carnivore in with the St Louis rib I buy at Southside Produce. Add a little extra butcher pepper and I roll that on everything but brisket.
