I haven't been since the algae hit but thinking of making a quick run this evening. Any redfish still around or is the algae still bad?

not sure if its true, but i heard they issued a warning to not swim or eat any seafood from the south shore now as well, so thats the whole lake under health warning

I've seen Eastern Lake P guides posting pics of caught reds. Not sure exactly where they were fishing... Could be out in the Biloxi Marsh for all I know but they're out there and they're catching still...

Now, if u asked me if I'd eat anything caught in that area right now, that's a different story.

Just as we got there what was some little showers converged into a major lightning storm. We made a quick run to millers ditch when we caught a window but didnt stay long. Mostly sat at the camp drinking beer and watching the lightning roll through.

Caught some reds in ponds yesterday. Water was coming in hard and had been for a while. It rose another foot this morning!

I have never seen the place so deserted.
