She's decided that Ryan Goslings character is an a-hole that she hates. He could do everything right from that point and still not save their marriage. This is accurate to the irl divorces I've watched unfold over the years.

bullshite. The dude married her, even though she was pregnant with another man's baby. Then, raised and loved that kid as if it were his own. Worked a job to where he'd have more time to spend with his family. Continued to love his wife, and his passion for her never waned during the 5 years they were together, nor did he ever cheat on her. I don't see anything "assholish" about his character.
Meanwhile, this bitch had slept with 20-25 men by the time she's 20. Comes from a home where her father abused her mother. Sucks the fun out of life at every opportunity.

I'm the sap who loves any well produced romantic drama film, but man is this movie annoying. The realism is so strong it feels like you're watching your best friends play out their trashy relationship in real life. And just like real life, I was cringing through the entire second half when the bitchyness ramped up.

That is one of my all time favorite movies. And Grizzly Bear doing all the music makes it even better.
