Also, don't let the overall deal price fool you. Guaranteed money will be the key and it may be much less. likely half guaranteed at best.
Makes it a 1-2 year deal in reality.
That's what I am thinking

This is a solid sign for d line depth. I like it

I like Brown as a run stuffing NT to play in Davison’s old spot but the money it just took to sign him almost assured that we won’t be able to bring a Okafor back which is not good. If it was between Brown and Okafor I’d much rather have Alex Okafor back and we just bring Tyeler Davison back on a cheaper contract or even make Stallworth the starter and draft a NT is the late rounds.

He’s better than Edwards and likely an upgrade over Davison

Basically an upgrade over Davison as nose tackle as he can draw a fair amount of double teams and is good at stuffing the run (Davison only did the latter).
This may mean we don't resign Davison, and are still relying on Onyemata to provide inside pressure to start the season.
We could always do what we did last year and move Davenport inside on some pass downs until Rankins gets back healthy, but we need another DE to put outside.
I doubt we're done on the Dline.

Onymata may have serious suspension. He ordered pot via US mail from NY. DEA did controlled delivery and served warrant. Not just a simple pot case

From what I remember Brown was looked at as a steal for the Patriots at 32. He was projected to go maybe ten or more picks sooner, but draft analysts are usually way off on those things.

Was a huge position of need. Good signing indeed.

Average signing with potential upside.

Easy mistake. Victimless crime.

you may say it is victimless crime but a viol;ation of NFL and also federal Law. Sending thru the mail miht mean some jail time
