What has F. King Alexander actually done to make LSU a better University?

Serious question, does he have anything to point to as his crowning achievement at LSU?

Any tangible and measureable impact?

The only President in LSU history to get a vote of no confidence from the Faculty Senate when he was hired.

That is still amazing! I would expect nothing less from LSU, just as puzzling as the Alleva hire. smdh

I would think the faculty senate vote is worse than student government

Well, he did create “safe spaces” at LSU so thanks for that.

Far worse, the board should have run from that clown as soon as that vote happened

I can't say precisely how much credit he should get, but LSU's most recent class of admitted freshman has the highest GPA and ACT averages in history. They have also revamped the admissions and academic recruiting departments on his watch, and I like what I see there. Just adding for some balance. Some good things have happened on FKA's watch.

This has been going up every year for LSU way before FKA got here. Also, he LOWERED admission standards and LSU continues to drop in academic rankings across the board.

Is that accurate? I thought that O’Keefe may have been similarly received by the faculty.
