We faced one of the better Olines in the playoffs in the eagles. But I agree as the Rams game wore on our pass rush wasn't as good and Goff had more time to pass. The run defense being as stout as it was this year for us also naturally skewed the stats as far as our pass defense went I think.

The injuries on the offensive line really slowed down the offense late in the season but to me, the biggest injury was to Marcus Davenport. Prior to his foot injury against the Vikings he was becoming a monster & providing pressure when teams were focusing on Cam Jordan. Even though Davenport returned, you could tell the foot was bothering him because he had nowhere near the same explosion as he did prior to injuring his foot. Had he been healthy, our pass rush probably is more effective in the playoff games

Eh, I think that is an unfair statistic to use just because of the way the season progressed. As somebody said, post Apple addition, I wholeheartedly disagree that the secondary was the team's weakest link.

I agree re: Davenport as well.

Yeah Davenport and Rankins for sure. Plus like you said the offense wasn't ad effective cause of oline guys being not 100%

The Eagles jumped out early throwing the football & Rams came back to tie the game up doing the same thing. There were also poor performances against the Steelers & Panthers late in the season too.

I made a dream FA thread a few weeks ago and Landon Collins was my dream FA. Especially now with Coleman gone

He’s not welcome here. His mom is, but not him.

Where does Collins fit in with the Saints? He's a good in box safety with mediocre coverage skills. Honestly, Bell has been the better overall player of the two the last couple of years.

ETA: Couple of years may be a stretch, but Bell was definitely the better player in 2018.

I've hated that Bama turd Ingram

Apples and oranges. Ingram didn't spurn his home state university and go to the dark side.

Needs to have his agent check each state’s child support laws and go from there.
