A Rasmussen Poll shows that nearly one-fourth of Americans would contribute their own money to build a border wall.

An Associated Press poll taken just before the shutdown shows that border security is among the top five concerns for the American people.

An Economist/YouGov poll shows that a whopping 62 percent of Americans view illegal immigration as either a “very serious problem” or a “somewhat serious problem” — with only seven percent of Americans believing that illegal immigration is “not” a problem.

Supporting Border Security is not the same as supporting the wall. And 325,000 people donating their own money doesn't prove anything at all.

I'm all for increased security along the Southern Border. Allocate $5 Billion or more for increased patrols, more electronic surveillance, whatever, just lay out a budget.

But a wall would be an economic and ecologic disaster and provide no tangible benefits. It's too bad its become such a political symbol, now.

That’s 0.1% of Americans who have donated. A large proportion, sure, but nowhere near the ~62 Million who voted for Trump and the ~68 Million who voted for someone other than Trump.

It’s all a play to keep the base happy but the base is by no means a majority as the 8 1/2 point arse-kicking the GOP took in the midterms demonstrates.

Is it?
Border security is all a "play"?

That's the talking point you're going to hitch your horses to?

How would a Wall be a disaster and how would it provide no benefits. It’s not a cure all sure but you don’t think it would help?

This has nothing to do with border security. How can you still be this naive?

So is Border Security a "play", or not?

So what proof sources do you have to back up this statement?
