I googled and found several different sites but not sure what sites are legit or not. The cheapest I could find is $44.79 from Kinguin Anyone ever use this site.

Thanks

In the future, instead of buying a subscription, you should use Microsoft Rewards points.

I haven't paid for Live in the last two years, and I've extended my subscription all the way to 2020; Didn't cost me a dime.

I keep an eye on slickdeals for a deal to be posted. Whenever I'm around 3 months away from expiring I start checking and usually a good deal pops up before I run out.

And as a poster above me said, use the Microsoft rewards page. They have daily trivia and polls that rack up rewards points. They're actually a bit interesting and educational. I enjoy looking at it every morning and getting points for it is just a bonus

This is what I do with PS plus. Cancelled auto renew and just buy a year for $40 or less when I see them.

Thanks for the information. I'm getting it for my son for Christmas. I'll look into the Microsoft Rewards for next year.
