Collins, like Napoleon subdued "The Mob". Napoleon did it with cannon and grapeshot. Collins did it with well measured words.

Both subdued the Mob.

Know your history and you'll get to see it repeat itself, time and time again. You'll also know what to expect.

Before she was done, I texted both my children stating = 'the best speech I have ever heard in the Senate."

Sure, best speech in the Senate, but will anything ever top "Go Gatah?" I think not.

The truly sad part is that the Left actually believes the LIES and expects everyone else to as well.

LIARS and CHEATERS can do as they wish with THEIR LIVES. They have NO business attempting to lead MY LIFE.

one of the better ones in my lifetime, at a minimum

She was calm, factual, and brought reason to an unreasonable situation

it seems that it came down to rule of law and due process vs compassion for victims for her, would she allow an otherwise qualified man to be denied an opportunity because of the emotions associated with an unsubstantiated and uncorroborated accusation?

she was able to demonstrate compassion, while still preserving the basic tenants that our nation was founded on

she was surprisingly masterful in her explanation of her decision and has earned my respect

Amazing speech.

And she’s now got people like Hannity rallying support for a moderately liberal, blue state Senator that happens to be a Rebuplican

She did everything but wink at Joe Manchin and say "Come on over Joe the water is fine".

This. Average Americans seem to think that all history-making events are in the books and we're somehow prevented from making additions to it ourselves. In truth, it's all around us - every day. We got a little dose of that yesterday.

Daniel Webster would have been proud.

And, despite her incredible and well thought out speech, the libs/progs immediately started shitting all over her...because in their hearts, they knew she was right.
