Last night was the season 4 premier. It was really good.. Especially since season 3 wasn't that great. Thoughts?

I stopped during season 3. Really liked the first season but the second kinda drug on. The third didn't look promising at all, so I stopped.

Last nights was really good. I read where the producers admitted they got off course last year and went back to basics this season.
It’s well done. I just hate the mom

Been looking forward to the season premiere. Loved the show since S1 EP1.
Last night's show was awesome. When they do the split points of view, I'm always wondering just which one is the accurate one. I'm leaning towards Noah in this episode.

Yeah, I like how they tell both sides.. Just like in real life, there is always 2 sides to the story so I like seeing how the situation is viewed from both sides.
I am with you, I think Noah's story in the first episode of season 4, is likely to be more accurate because of two things that happened, when both sides of the story was told.
Helen ignoring Noah's calls when he arrived at school for parents night, although he got there late, it it just created a tense situation. And then when her and Noah were talking in the bathroom, both times she blamed Noah for interrupting the son from telling them he was gay (as if Noah was suppose to know what they were talking about).
Helen is going towards the deep in. The future mother in law seems to make Helen feel like she doesn't do anything. She is still living with the fact Noah went to jail for her, etc.

I love the show, and I think this opening episode is setting up what should be a good season

I'm a bit surprised that's still on air.

I hope you guys are right. Really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 and the unique style, but season 3 was just awful. Might have to give season 4 a chance.

The only thing I know about the show is that McNulty was cheating on his wife with Alice Morgan. Is he still married and cheating, is he married and dealing with a deranged and slighted side piece, is he now married to Alice? What's the general direction of the story since the first season?

I watched it since beginning, I thought season 1 was the best. It hasn’t reduced itself to Homeland. I enjoy the series.
