I'm confused. Wasn't the Grammys two months ago?

Elton just released the revamp & restoration album on Friday, most of these covers are on it. I'm enjoying these performances so much!

Think he will be in Columbia in Fall 2018.

Prices...high.

Was a total snooze fest outside of one or two people. Should have given Elton an hour instead

I saw him earlier this year at his Vegas residency. We were in the "nosebleeds", but still amazing seats because it's only a 4500 seat venue. Tickets ran us about $125/each (a steal for Elton IMO).

I looked at tickets for the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Tour at the Phillips Arena, and the cheapest seats I can find are $300.

Wish I'd seen him in concert in the 70's, when his shows were insane.

Now, not so much.

The Florence & The Machine cover of Tiny Dancer is fantastic.

How was the show? Was it the canned hour and 15 minute show like most vegas acts?

My wife and I really want to see him live, but can't decide to go see him at Caesar's or out on tour...

I loved it. His show was about 1:30-1:45. Found this setlist online, and it's pretty spot on to what we saw in February. LINK

Love Elton John's stuff. John Legend absolutely killed it on "Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me."

Funny story, I used to work on The Strip near Caesar's Palace and I would frequently go on walks through the old Forum Shops (this was about 2004). I liked to browse through the big Virgin Records store that used to be there. One day the alarm started going off and the security gates came down over the front entrance. I figured they had just caught a shop-lifter and it was just standard protocol. So I keep flipping through albums. A few minutes go by and I notice that the security gates are still down. I look at the guy next to me who is shuffling through CD's. I think its pretty odd that he had 2 small dogs on leashes and wore sunglasses inside. Suddenly I realized "Holy shite, that's Elton John!" It was pretty cool, actually. I did not bother him.
