Venice Help

Tried searching and I know I’ve seen info here before, but can’t find it. I want to set up a summer trip for some guys from my company and a couple buddies. Want to fish out of Venice...offshore one day/night and inshore a second day. Will be approximatley 6-8 ppl and I’d like to find a house/camp to stay in. Also, would love to bowfish possibly instead of inshore trip if anybody runs out of Venice. Only guy I know of is over in the Dulac area. Thanks in advance. Of all the places I’ve fished in south LA...Venice is not one of them.

Fish Venice Charters for offshore. Limit is 6 per boat.
Rent a houseboat at the marina.
Scale damage for bowfishing. They fish up the highway in port sulphur area.

Only been once for pleasure. Get a houseboat overlooking the harbor or whatever. Pretty sweet place. Drive your boat up to your porch.

Most of us will be driving/flying from Atlanta so we won’t have boats.
Any experience with Venice fishing lodge?
Not really against do an all inclusive deal to make planning easier if anybody has rec’s on that too.

Look at Saltgrass outdoors...
They are located closer to Empire but fish from Empire to Venice and Mainly venice. Eddie Burger supplies boats with them for offshore and they do their inshore. Really nice place to drink a beer have a large antebellum home over looking the river you can sit on the back porch and ponder life looking at the marsh and river.

Check out Voodoo Fishing out of Venice, cant say enough good things about their outfit.
Did an offshore trip with them in November and destroyed the YFT. We had 7 between 70-90lbs,and one smaller 30lb or so YFT, could have easily kept fishing and caught more, but we had enough with 4 guys onboard.
They also have a houseboat in Venice we stayed in that was great.
