I made this thread for one simple reason... the entertainment value of the responses.

It's done what most HOU threads do...gone to shite.

So was miller. These guys would not be in the nba if not on the Pels

Liggins sure.

Miller had a good bit of teams who reached out to sign him, pelicans offered him more and familiarity.

But I mean he made 2 more 3s than usual. Gordon also played above his usual average.

See how that works?

One team has the best net rating in the league. The other has a minus net rating.

Ignore the team names when a minus net rating team beats the best bet rating team in the league most would rightfully call it a fluke.

Can we talk about how ridiculous that our discussion of teams has gotten so binary?

This is a really good rockets team but y’all act like since they will run into a GOAT level roster that they suck. It’s silly

They're a 500 level team. They've beat good teams and they lost to bad teams. It's the nba, it happens

It is a fluke. But miller being a good shooter isn't likely a fluke.

Defensively, he's pretty bad though but so is everyone not named AD or holiday on the pelicans. I mean rondo is completely arse.

T both guys hit their career high for three pointers made. In the same game.

Fluke : unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck.

eh safe to say that falls in the fluke bucket.

Well, its better than not having the best offense of all time

Am I the only one who clicked the thread downvoted immediately then read the OP and the first few post and tried to downvote again?

Beast, just think where that o-rating would be if they had good health this year. Sheesh...

Also Think where the W-L record would be. We are talking a team that wouldve flirted with the all time win record.

Won’t happen next year. For the same reason GSW won’t set it this year. The reg season won’t matter that much. This year they still have the newness and Chris and James have both had time out w injury. THats why there was no dog days for CC this year. One bad dog days week and you won’t touch that record.

Of course Houston won't get the record next season.

Regular season win records aren't Lebron's thing.
