OA was great all the way until the end. I need to try the first season of Broadchurch. I made the mistake of trying to pick it up with the start of the second season and didn’t like it.

The OA has, and I say this without hyperbole, the dumbest ending I've ever seen in a movie or tv show.

Yeah, the second season picks up right where the first left off. It wouldn't make sense by itself. Season 3 would, but it is just similar settings and most of the same characters, but centers around a different crime. I felt like they could have kept going, but it looks like 3 seasons was all they're going to do.
