Umm when you are no longer given a choice to remain on, you are essentially fired. Optics wise, it is much better to have a half dozen people essentially retire than to allow the left the opportunity to run with the narrative that Trump is firing everyone at the top of the fbi and DoJ.

Makes me curious as to whether Comey could be setting up "shop" as a high-powered private intel consulting firm.....bring all his buddies with him! I'm sure they'd get plenty of business from the politicos in D.C.....not to mention some possibly big tech corps with liberal agendas.
